Men’s Ministry is dedicated to the task of helping men lead. As men, we are accountable and responsible to God for the leadership and influence that we can have in our home, job and community. Together, we can help one another become men who follow Jesus above everything else in our lives. A variety of men’s events will be promoted periodically through out the year. Listed below are ways in which you can join in with other men who want to honor God with their lives.
Men’s Prayer Time
Thursday-6am, in the Atrium
Join us every Thursday morning at 6am in the Atrium. We start our with a devotional thought. Then men share prayer requests in small groups of 5 or 6. Relationships are developed and faith is strengthened as men pray for one another, their families and their community. Weekly men are giving testimony to prayers being answered. We are excited about what God is doing in and through those who gather to pray. We invite you to join us!
Next Breakfast TBA
A tremendous time of fellowship with other men is a major result of the Men’s Breakfast which is offered periodically and takes place on a specified Saturday morning. A great breakfast is served for a $5 suggested donation. At the Breakfast in July over 100 men enjoyed hearing from the University of Louisville kicker who was our guest speaker.
Starting September 7, on Sunday evenings from 5-7 pm, the Men’s Study will be “Dare to Be Uncommon” written by former NFL Coach Tony Dungy. Peter Gaddie will be the facilitator of this 7 week study. There will also be a brief devotional thought on DVD from Coach Dungy and Men’s Discussion Groups. In this study, men will be inspired, encouraged and accountable to one another.
